Darlington - Mrs. Ruth R. Haas, 69, a life resident of this area, died Wednesday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been in ill health for several years. She was a member of the Darlington Methodist Church and Darlington Garden Club. She attended schools in Montgomery County. She had owned and operated the Darlington Dry Goods Store, was employed by Real Silk Mills at Indianapolis and by Freedmans Calculators in California and had been a sales representative in four states for the Terri Lee Doll Corp. She was born Nov. 14, 1903, a daughter of Charles and Myrtle Staley. She was married Dec. 10, 1934, at Crawfordsville to Raymond G. Haas, who survives. - typed by BR
